Robert Clark

(guitar, bodhran and vocals)

For a long time Robert participated in the Easterhouse Arts Project, learning from the likes of George Jackson (Ossian), Dougie Pincock (Battlefield Band), and Kieth Easdale (Calasaig). It was while attending the arts project that Robert was encouraged to sing by Gordeanna McCulloch, so now you know who to blame. Robert is also guilty of writing his own songs and forcing the group to perform them.

Willie Hill
    (guitar, bodhran and vocals)

Willie is the product of the famous Rutherglen Academy Ballads Club where he was introduced to the big ballads and folk music in general by Adam McNaughton. Willie's rich baritone voice is the foundation of the group’s rich vocal sound.

John Hawell

(mandolin and vocals)

John is the group's token musician. Brought up in Kent where he was part of the local folk scene. He finally saw sense and moved to Scotland. John met up with Robert as part of Da Capo Alba guitar and mandolin orchestra where they occasionally joined up with Willie to perform short sets during orchestra concerts. These performances were so successful that they declared full independence in 2003 and eventually cockalorum was formed
